Soak in warm water with a small amount of mild detergent for one hour. For stubborn stains, use a soft bristled brush to gently scrub the rope. Wipe metal hardware with a damp cloth. Hang to dry.

More peace-of-mind (Husky owner)

Arrived today, and purchased this because our 4-year-old Siberian husky managed to somehow free herself from our otherwise trusty conventional-style slide connector leash when simply shaking her body during a walk. I discovered just in time before she seemed aware, and reattached, but once is still one too many times, especially for this breed. Intentionally shopped for a twist-style carabiner attachment method instead, and I'm very much appreciating that in this leash, but also the reduction in bulk compared to our prior one. Lightweight but still instills more confidence during our walks.
